Bounce Productions
About Bounce Productions
BOUNCE – a name derived by Jing Gavino from his collaboration with Eight Espino as both love bouncing natural and controlled light on their subject. After a collaboration, Eight added the word ‘productions’ aptly to capture the wonderful photos the dynamic duo produces… thus Bounce Productions was born.
Foundation
Bounce Productions is a collaborative and collective effort – no competition and nothing to prove. It does not matter who clicks the shutter button as both can capture the frames in mind for Bounce. Enjoying the best way possible - both take simple joys taking turns in lighting or reflecting, directing models, and learning together.
Magis
Bounce Productions enjoy conducting workshops and sharing knowledge to the best their abilities – ‘huwag mag-maramot.’ Afterall, the knowledge that they have today is owed to the great mentors who guided them - Dennis Tan, Manny Librodo, Parc Cruz, Ku Manahan and Lito Sy.
‘We are not experts nor are we technicians. We would like to be considered as Artists’ – this is the imprint that separates Bounce Productions from the rest, and this is also the philosophy they share with their workshop participants.
About Jing Gavino:
A father, a husband, and a golfer by heart, Jing was introduced to photography through his wife, Chari, a year ago. Since then he never stopped bringing out the artist in him and relentlessly pursued the knowledge needed for his art.
“If I count the days I spent in learning photography, reading books, and acquiring post processing techniques , these will all sum up to 350 days straight… all about photography” Jing said. “In this craft you have to have the passion, focus, and determination to achieve the goals that you envision” he added.
His extraordinary dedication to photography and his natural talent surely are seen on the beautiful and stunning works of art he has been producing since he started the craft. “We let our photos speak for themselves” as he would say on any given day.
He ended the interview by quoting one of his mentors, the great Lito Sy - “If you have the eye and the taste, it’s all that matters…”
Bounce Workshops

“In this workshop, we will not teach you how to be technicians but we would help you find the artist in you.” This is the famous line both Eight and Jing gave during their first Bounce workshops. True to their words, the workshops of Bounce Productions produced graduates that can make photos according to their vision and taste.
Bounce workshops cover everything an aspiring artist needs to know from the basic control of the DSLR, lighting techniques, up to how to ‘direct’ a photo shoot. Bounce is not just limited to portrait photography, and that is the beauty of the workshop as one can apply the knowledge depending on the field of photography chosen. To give an edge to the already wonderful photos right off cam, the mentors also teach post processing techniques that would really give an extra ‘umph’ to the photos.
Interactive, fun, informal, and informative – these would describe Bounce Workshops in a nutshell. Eight and Jing make sure to have the environment of the workshop as informal as possible to allow more learning as it is better to learn while having fun. They entertain and even encourage the participants to ask anything so every base will be covered and the participants will not be left hanging on air. Both facilitate the workshops side by side, sharing their knowledge and techniques… and oh, they are very approachable. The good thing about the workshop is not just the knowledge the participants acquire but the bond of the bouncers that is formed during and even outside the sessions. So what is the best thing about the workshop? Well, it is the art that the participants have been producing after attending the bounce workshops. We could go on and on telling how great Bounce workshops are but we would rather have the graduates talk about it and show their artworks to back it up.
